Scripture Focus — John 10:27–29 (NLT)“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me… No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.”
There are some scriptures you don’t just read—you rest in. John 10:27–29 is one of those passages for me.
This scripture brings me hope and a deep, settled peace because it reminds me that no matter what life throws my way, I am kept by the grace of God.
I have walked through many trials and seasons of real pain. Rejection. Abandonment. Depression. Anxiety. Fear. Confusion. Loss. Moments where life pressed in from every direction all at once. And I can say without hesitation—this is not a cliché for me. It is a knowing.
Where others were inconsistent, God was always faithful. Where life felt uncertain, His hand was steady. Where the weight of pain could have taken me down a road of no return—His grace held me.
There were seasons when health challenges, relationship struggles, and loss all collided at the same time. By every human standard, I should not have survived those moments the way I did.
But…I was kept by the grace of God.
Jesus reminds us that we are known by Him, held by Him, and protected by the Father. No circumstance, no attack, no season of weakness can snatch us from His hand. That promise does not expire when life gets hard—it becomes even more powerful.
This is my encouragement to every believer today: No matter what you face, you are not abandoned. You are not forgotten. You are not slipping through the cracks.
And just as God promises, goodness and mercy are following you—even now, even in the middle of the storm.
Rest in that! Walk in that assurance. And let the peace of being kept by God’s grace guard your heart today.
Stay encouraged and be blessed!
