The Feed

There is something beautiful about slowing down long enough to notice life. Watching the wind gently move through the trees. Listening to birds greet a new morning. Feeling the warmth of the sun on your face. Savoring a quiet cup of coffee before the demands of the day begin. Laughing with someone you love without glancing at the clock. These moments rarely accomplish anything on our to-do lists. Yet somehow, they nourish something much deeper.

Jesus never asked me to do it alone. He asked me to do it with Him. If we’re honest, His words feel impossible. And perhaps that is exactly the point. Because this kind of love is not something we manufacture.

The children may be grown. Roles may be shifting. Relationships may look different. The body changes. Priorities change. Even the things that once motivated you may no longer carry the same weight. Yet in the middle of all those transitions, God gives a beautiful promise.

For mature women, it is wise to do an inventory of the people we have allowed into our lives and to notice who remains. Some friendships are for a season, some for a reason, and some are lifelong blessings. The people who stay often reveal much about trust, character, and shared purpose. Their presence becomes a reminder that godly friendship is not measured by quantity, but by faithfulness.

The greatest healing in this season is not becoming who you used to be… …but finally embracing who God says you are now.

A single word can heal or wound, build up or tear down, open doors or close them. But John introduces us to a Word unlike any other—the Word who doesn’t just speak life but is life.

When we remember we are beloved, who have been bought with the precious blood of Jesus, service is overflow from a heart already accepted!

There is a difference between simply filling a spot and being truly planted where God has called you!

A corner represents what is not yet visible. It is the part of the road we have not fully entered. Wisdom!

Sometimes disappointment comes through rejections. It appears as unfair treatment, silence, misunderstanding, or being overlooked.

Colossians 2:14–15 (NLT) “He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, He disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by His victory over them on the cross.” There are moments in life when the past tries to speak louder than the present. Moments when guilt, shame, regret, or old accusations attempt to define who we are and where we are going. But Colossians 2:14–15 boldly interrupts

Peace is not something we stumble upon by accident. Scripture invites us to seek it intentionally and then go a step further—to pursue it.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Transformation is not only spiritual, it is environmental. Who you allow in your space. What you give your energy to. What you tolerate. What you protect.

Sometimes it’s hard to see progress, but just because we don’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not happening. God’s plans for us are intentional.

As the year comes to a close, many women find themselves reflecting on the road they have traveled — the victories, the tears, the lessons, the quiet battles no one else saw.

Whenever God leads you into unfamiliar places, new assignments, new responsibilities, new chapters, or new healing, our first response should be to build an altar to the Lord.

You may have been in survival mode, but God is calling you up, out, and forward. You are stepping into a season where you will breathe differently, move differently, and see yourself differently.

We are women who have walked through storms and found God faithful. We are women who have seen pain, survived heartache, endured disappointment, and yet by God’s power have risen with strength in our bones and wisdom in our mouths. This kind of maturity is not accidental. It is cultivated. And with it comes responsibility.

There is something sacred about a promise. A promise carries weight, expectation, and hope. It represents trust, believing that something will or will not happen based on the word that was given. When a promise is honored, trust deepens. But when a promise is broken, especially repeatedly, it fragments trust, weakens integrity, and leaves wounds that often take time to heal.
