“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV)

There’s a rhythm to life, and for many women, especially those over 50, this season may feel like a time of transition—children grown, careers shifting, health changing, or even the question: What now, Lord?

But hear this—now more than ever, it is your time to rise. This is not a season of fading into the background but of stepping into the purpose God has placed within you. Every vessel—young or old, polished or cracked—is a vessel of honor in the eyes of God (2 Timothy 2:20–21). Your life, your testimony, your wisdom, and your faith are needed for the Kingdom.

The beauty of Ecclesiastes reminds us: there is a time to be silent and a time to speak (3:7). Women of God, this is the time to speak. To live with boldness, to declare the works of the Lord, and to pour into those around you with the wisdom you’ve acquired.

As Paul encourages us in Philippians 1:6 (NIV): “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

You are not forgotten. You are not on the sidelines. You are chosen, useful, and called—right now!

Reflection Questions:

  1. What areas of my life have I been hesitant to step out in boldness for fear of being “too old” or “not enough”?

Charge to Action:

This week, take one step—big or small—toward the purpose you know God has placed in your heart. Whether it’s starting a women’s group, writing your testimony, volunteering, or simply praying with someone in need, step out of your shell and into boldness.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for reminding me that every season has a purpose. Thank You that this season of my life is not one of decline, but of divine assignment. Father, help me to be bold, driven, and purposeful for Your Kingdom. Use me as a vessel of honor, to shine Your light and bring hope to those around me. I trust You to complete the good work You started in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
